AirSpeed Telecom helps Ireland deliver on 100% broadband for schools target
Every secondary school is set to have 100 Mbps broadband following the Irish Government's awarding of the final contracts in the Post Primary Schools Project. AirSpeed Telecom has been selected to install the high-speed service to a further 65 secondary schools nationwide.

AirSpeed Telecom, together with enet, were awarded Project of the Year (SME) at the 2014 Tech Excellence Awards. The award was received in recognition of the companies’ project to establish Claremorris in Co. Mayo as Ireland’s ‘First Fibre Town’.

I've been reading a lot about Software Defined Networking (SDN) this week. SDN is a new approach to designing, building and managing networks. The basic concept is that SDN separates the network’s control (brains) and forwarding (muscle) planes to make it easier to optimise each.
